a 17 year old senior was accused of accidentally shooting two classmates at a california high school he was arrested the alleged shooter brought a automatic pistol in a backpack to his class at gardena high school in la on tuesday morning police said the pistol accedintaly went off when he dropped the bag on the desk the kid name who has not been released he then left the classroom and the school was left on lockdown two students were wounded in the shooting including a 15 year oldgirl who was shot in the head and is currently listed in critical condition and a 15 year old boy was shot in the neck and he is in stable condition the police decided not to charge the senior with attempted murder they charged him with assualt with a deadly weapon instead police are investigating to see if he has been bullied some of his friends claim he brought the gun to school for protection he said he got the gun in school because they only do random scaning
